Youth
An active body of Christ, the Youth consist of grades 7 through 12, and on into college. The Youth meets every Sunday at 6:30 pm. Our meetings consist of food, games, fellowship, and learning God's Word. Regular outings range from eating and going to the movies, short and long term mission trips. We minister to the community and other states, as we are traditionally involved in Mexico Missions and mission trips to Alabama. We encourage any Youth age individuals to join us for our regular meeting and outings.Disciples of God's Spirit
The Disciples of God’s Spirit (DOGS) meet on the 2nd Sunday night of the month at 6:00 pm. This group includes 4th ,5th and 6th graders who have fun learning together as they act out or read stories from the Bible. After the lesson there are refreshments, crafts and a time for writing Bible verses in their DOG journals. Special outings include camping, swimming, fishing, and bowling. During Christmas break the DOGS go Christmas caroling and have an overnight lock-in at church. Service projects include shelving and sorting food at Yadkin Christian Ministries. The Friends of Jesus (FOJ) group is for children ages Pre-K through 3rd grade. This group meets on 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month at 5:00 pm. We enjoy devotions, Bible stories, crafts, games, and snacks. There are special trips and activities planned throughout the year with participation in church events such as Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Trunk 'n Treat, Christmas Program, Sports Afternoon, Vacation Bible School and many others. We also participate in local outreach such as visits and singing at the nursing center, baby bottles for the New Hope Pregnancy Center and our favorite Christmas caroling in local homes. Our goal is to lead the children to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and to share His love with others around us.Children's Church
Children's Church is held on the first and third Sundays of each month during the 11:00 am Worship Service. Children in Pre-K through 3rd grade are invited to the Fellowship Hall immediately following the Pastor's Children's Sermon for an age-appropriate study of God's Word.
